Ils en ont rêvé, Warner Bros l'a fait. Trente trois ans après. Scooby-Doo revient sur le petit écran, pour le bonheur des petits comme des grands. Le 14 septembre 2002, les Américains ont pu voir de nouvelles aventures du Scoobygang le samedi matin à 8h30 dans "What's New Scooby-Doo ?", une série de 2 x 13 épisodes de 30 minutes (plus un épisode Spécial Noël) avec nos héros restylés années 2000 branchées. Tous ont des téléphones mobiles, et Véra est la pro de l'informatique et de l'internet sans fil... Le Scoobygang intrépide du 21e siècle est donc arrivé ! Ils vont continuer à vivre toutes sortes de péripéties mystérieuses, toujours avec comme trame celle qui a fait le succès de ce cartoon dans les années 70 (c'est un retour aux sources en quelque sorte) et que nous aimons depuis trente ans. La chaîne "Kids WB" a été même très fière d'annoncer le retour des doubleurs américains originaux Casey Kasem and Frank Welker, les alter egos de Samy et Fred. Le générique est interprêté par le groupe "Simple Plan". Et chez nous, France 3 diffuse en ce moment les épisodes tous les samedis matin à 8h25 ! De nouveaux épisodes très réussis, mis au goût du jour, et faisant un petit peu plus frissonner ! Saison 1 There's No Creature Like Snow Creature Le Scoobygang se rend à une compétition de snowboard afin de mener une enquête au sujet d'un monstre des neiges qui attaquerait les participants. C'est le médaillé olympique Chris Klug qui prête sa voix à son alter ego dans cet épisode.
3-D Struction Daphne's uncle sends the gang to Costa Rica for the opening of a museum exhibit on dinosaurs. When our heroes meet archeologist Melbourne O'Reilly, he reveals the legend of a dinosaur-spirit who's supposed to get revenge on anyone who disturbs these bones. So when the gang sits down to enjoy a new 3-D dino-film in the museum's theatre, it's not that surprising when the dinosaur jumps off the screen -- and into the audience. It's up to the gang to figure out who's really "behind this devastating dinosaur disaster."
Space Ape
at the Cape Velma and the gang are at NASA, when Velma wins the year's best invention. They soon find themselves running from a growing alien. The alien keeps on growing everytime the see him. They get in trouble from the world's most annoying kid ... Elliot Blinder.
Big scare
in the Big Easy Scooby and the gang travel to New Orleans to celebrate Mardi Gras when they soon meet twin ghosts that used to hate each other. During the episode Daphne (damsel in distress) gets kidnapped for the first time this season. The gang needs to find Daphne and the two ghosts.
It's Mean, it's Green, it's the Mystery Machine When the Mystery Machine comes to life and begins driving by itself, the gang tries to find the clues.... Which leads them to The Mystery Kids, the band who formerly owned the Mystery Machine.
Riva Ras Regas The gang goes to Las Vegas to meet teen pop singer Lindsay Pagano, but they soon end up trying to uncover the mystery of a deceased magician who's haunting the theatre that Lindsay's performing at.
Roller Ghoster Ride ! The crew investigate roller coasters,but they are haunted by the "Roller Ghoaster".
Safari, So Goodi! When the gang travels of the safari, They discover the animals changing to a yellow color and doing strange things. They have to solve the mystery or else that stuff might happen to Scooby.
She Sees Sea Monster at the Sea Shore The gang goes on a trip to the islands where they are gonna vacation when they encounter a sea serpent. The gang has to solve the case.
Toy Scary Boo The gang investigate on this mystery where activated toys are taking over the toy store. They suspect a really interested fanatic is involved with the case. When he actually comes clean, the gang thought they were right all along. But they weren't.
Lights! Camera! Mayhem! A purple phantom starts threating the production of "Spy Me A River" and the gang set out to find the villain.
Pompeii and Circumstance While visiting Italy the gang battles a zombie gladiator who appears to be responsible for causing volcano erruptions.
The Unnatural The ghost of an old baseball player starts haunting the baseball stadium. Scooby and the gang have to find out who it is.
Episode spécial : Scooby-Doo Christmas The Great Dane and his pals arrive in a town where Christmas is not celebrated because a headless snowman terrorizes the residents, so the amateur sleuths set out to solve the mystery.

Big Appetite in Little Tokyo Shaggy & Scooby are on the run! When a mystical person zaps a pizza with a growing spell and Shaggy eats it! Shaggy starts to grow whenever he goes to sleep and he starts eating everything in sight. Now the gang are running around tokyo trying to get away from the police who want to put Shaggy in jail.
While in Egypt on an archeological dig with Melbourne O'Reilly, the gang encounters Pharaoh Scamses the 15th, a mummy who has a knack of turning tourists into his zombie minions. So the gang sets out to solve the mystery - that is, until Fred, Daphne and Velma get turned into zombies too!
Thanks to Freddy, the gang enters a 24 hour off road race, only to deal with crazy drivers, a giant worm, and the cult that honors the worm.
The gang visits a state fair in order to see all the inventions "of the future." But they get more than they bargained for when they set their sights on a "House of the Future," which is allegedly haunted. Things seem pretty normal within... until Daphne mysteriously vanishes. Is it two prankster kids, a reality TV personality, the creator of the gadgets or the high-tech house of horrors itself that's responsible for the strange goings-on?
Scooby and the gang are heading to Transylvania to watch the shoot of the Hex Girls new music video "Wanna Wed, But Fled", but they find out that the band is breaking up, and that there's a vampire on the loose. Fred decided go straight to trapping the vampire. But after that they learn that another vampire's hanging around. Who could it be? Go to kidswb.com and vote for who you think is the vampire.
In this episode Scooby has to choose between going to a museam or a dog show. He chooses the dog show. While at the dog show they find that a mysterious cat creature is haunting the show. The cat creature appears during the show and while Fred, Daphne, Shaggy and Velma go fight the creature, Scooby protects the 6 pups and the mother. But then dognappers reach them and kidsnapped Scooby and the six pups!
During a visit to San Fransisco for the Grind Games, a world famous skateboarding competition, Scooby and the gang discover a monster known as the San Franpsycho. WHO is stalking the skaters?
Traveling through a Canadian ghost town, Scooby and the gang encounter the rock group, Simple Plan. Who is the Invisible Madman that is haunting them?
There's an Ooze Monster haunting the Scooby Snacks factory and Scooby and the gang have to stop it.
The gang visits a Renaissance Fair. Velma is thrilled to see the star of her favorite T.V. show that had been cancelled many years before at the fair. When a dragon begins haunting the festival, the gang is shocked. But when Velma gets kidnapped, Fred, Daphne, Shaggy, & Scooby rush to save her before it's too late.
Scooby and
Shaggy befriend a penguin while working at a zoo. When they
(as well as Velma, Daphne, & Fred) are invited to join
him on a trip back to his home, Antarctica, they find that
an ice ghost is haunting the way station there. He even has
pushed the head scientist there into the ice. Velma is
baffled by the increasing amount of suspects but eventually
figures out who the villain is. A giant Wakumi bird is stealing sculptures that are too be put in a museum.
Scooby and the gang find a medallion while in Greece and are pursued by a centaur who's after the medallion.
Episode spécial : Scooby-Doo Halloween In this primetime special, the Scooby Gang heads to the eerie town of Banning Junction to spend Halloween with Velma's aunt (voiced by Julia Sweeney), uncle (voiced by Diedrich Bader) and the beautiful and flirtatious cousin Marcy (voiced by Jenny McCarthy). The gang joins the townspeople in celebrating their renowned "100 Years of Halloween" festivities, including a crowning of the Queen of the Masquerade Ball and an amped out performance by KISS (with the voice of Paul Stanley). But when strange and spine-tingling things begin to happen, a fearful townswoman (voiced by Rhea Perlman) blames it is the ghost of Hank Banning, the town's founder and ousted mayor, back to seek revenge on the town that wronged him 100 years ago. While Shaggy (Casey Kasem) and Scooby (Frank Welker) anxiously wait to meet KISS, go trick-or-treating for tons of candy and have -- not regular scary, but Halloween scary -- fun, they reluctantly aid Fred (Welker), Daphne (Grey Delisle) and Velma (Mindy Cohn) in putting their investigative skills to work in hopes of revealing who is really behind the Halloween mischief. Additional guest-voice appearances in the special include Stacy Keach, Tom Kenny and Daran Norris.
